Good Times Ice Cream

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where can I find you?
I get this question a lot! I am not your average ice cream truck roaming through neighborhoods. I spend the majority of my time catering events: birthday parties, weddings, and corporate appreciations.  I can also do school and community events!
How do I book you?
The best way to inquire about booking an event is to email me. I do my best to reply within 48 hours, but in most cases within the day (usually morning!). It's just me running this show, so please understand if I have other obligations-personal or business- keeping me away from the computer.  All bookings are done via email, so if you call or text, I will reply but I will not book over the phone.  I have to keep all my ducks on the same pond!
Are you insured?
Yes! My truck carries a $1 million auto policy.  I can provide a CoI if you need one.
Do you have dairy-free, Vegan, and/or gluten-free choices?
ABSOLUTELY!!  I have something for everyone! The majority of my menu is gluten free. I have well over a dozen options for dairy-free (which may also be non-GMO, dye-free, and no HFCS).  I also usually stock a KETO option (2 net carbs) for guests watching their sugar intake.
How much do you cost?
The most important question, right?! I wish I could give you an estimate right now, but what I can say is catered events start at $200.  There is an hourly rate and a cost per ice cream with a minimum based on your location and the day/time.  If you are outside Travis County, or 15 driving miles away from the Capitol, there may be a travel fee.
Do you operate year-round?
Not really, no. February to November is my typical season length.  I started this business to be able to spend quality time with my family, and the holidays I hold precious.  I usually do a big overhaul mechanically every year during the winter.  That said: still reach out!  I may be able to serve your event!
What types of payment do you accept?
If the bank takes it, I take it!
How far in advance should I book?
I accept bookings 8 months in advance. The sooner you book, the more likely I will be available for your date and time.  My calendar is view-only, and you can always check to see what is available.  I am very transparent!  I prefer at least a week's notice, especially for larger events. But it never hurts to ask, sometimes I have availability on a short notice!  If I can’t help you I know others that might be able to.

Thank you for reading!  I appreciate any and all support for my very local, very small business!  Keeping Austin weird!
